Merrill Tool uses several large floor mills to machine parts up to 52.5 feet long, holding tolerances as tight as 0.001" over the entire length. This makes Merrill Tool the perfect partner to produce:

• Machine beds for machining, assembly and testing equipment
• Rails for material handling, machining, assembly and robotic systems
• Precision mating surfaces on large vacuum and processing chambers

Each machine is equipped with multi-positioning heads to accurately and efficiently machine multiple surfaces in a single part setup. Our FPT Area-EV offers 4-axis continuous contouring of parts up to 12 feet in diameter and provides additional travel through a W-axis.
