It can cut thin pieces of soft rubber and foam … or six-inch-thick granite. Water jet cutting enables Merrill Tool & Machine to precision-cut virtually any material to +/- 0.005" directly from CAD data, blueprints or scanned drawings and logos. It will perfectly cut even the most complex shapes, using a low-heat process that doesn’t create any heat-affected zone – eliminating the warping or stresses of other cutting methods.
